The remote Valley in which Mqolombeni School is situated
Mqolombeni Primary School, in a deep rural area high above the Umkomaas valley, undertook a whole school training in the RtL methodology.

The school has 8 staff members, teaching classes from Gr R to Gr 7.  Teachers live on the property as the school is so remote that transport to and from school is difficult.

Learners live in the nearby homesteads and are enthusiastic and well disciplined.

Teachers received their certificates at a ceremony at the end of 2014.
